卧龙深处始建于清朝雍正七年（公元1729年），已有281年历史了，后隆中风景区管理处在1982年又对其进行重建。门楣上“卧龙深处”是曾任全国人大副委员长的王任重在1984年所题写的，整处建筑分为东、中、西三院。

Built in the 7^th Yong Zheng year of Qing Dynasty (1729), Wolongshenchu has a history of 281 years, and later the Administration Office of Longzhong scenic spot rebuilt it in 1982. “卧龙深处”(Wolongshenchu) on the lintel of its door was inscribed by Wang Renzhong in 1984, the ever vice chairman of National People’s Congress. The whole building consists of an eastern yard, a middle yard and a western yard. Today, we mainly visit the middle yard. The middle yard is divided into three buildings and three yards.
